History

Summer of 2006...Brian, Allie, Kevin and Akin join a independent soccer league. Out of this came the Grassy Knolls. We have played @ Winnimac Park, River Park, Depaul University, Lincoln Park, Rainer YMCA and Douglas Park. In many different leagues Sports Monster, Armitage FA, Players Sports Groups at many different levels...Top to the bottom, we found success somewhere in the middle. People involved in our team have an international flair including French (Gilles, Max, Phillip, and Elodie in support) English (James), Nigerian (Akin), Mexican (Hororio and Manny) Italian (Filippo, Dean and Gina), Canadian (Ami), Miss Illinois (Leslie), New Yorker (Joe)

Players Sport & Social Group is an amazing organization for anyone looking to stay active, meet new people, and have a great time.
