Event: The Lazy 0.5k

Location: Lottie's Pub, 1925 W Cortland Ave, Chicago, IL 60622
Parking: Free street parking on Cortland, Winchester, and most surrounding streets. Be sure to check signs - especially for permit parking! However, we recommend rideshare so you can drink (ir)responsibly :)
Check-in: Starts @ 10:30am; head in to Lottie's Pub between 10:30am & 11:10am to get checked in! Upon checking in, you'll receive your Official Lazy 0.5k race bib white supplies last, two (2) tickets (one to redeem your free slice of 'za, the other for your first White Claw), event wristband, and supplies for the Shotgun Start, presented by White Claw!
Shotgun Start: ~11:15am - We'll be kicking off the race with our official Shotgun Start INSIDE Lottie's Pub, and then we'll head outside to get The Lazy 0.5k started!
The Lazy 0.5k (map below): The Lazy 0.5k will begin just south of the entrance to Lottie's Pub, with overflow continuing northeast, along the sidewalk outside of Lottie's (the southeast corner of Winchester & Cortland). The route will continue south along Winchester, crossing just before the bridge. Upon heading back north along the westside of Winchester, your route will flow into Churchill Park, where you will find some refreshing Hydration Stations! Upon exiting the park, continue north on the west side of Winchester back to Lottie's Pub.
Get the Party Started: Congrats! Once you've finished that grueling journey, you'll head back in to Lottie's where you can enjoy the after party! Here you will also be able to take advantage of The Lazy 0.5k specials, enjoy your free beer & pizza, and watch some College Football!
Attire & Weather: Costumes are HIGHLY encouraged - we'll be giving out prizes!
The dream? All of the reward, with the BARE MINIMUM effort (sorry, Deadpool).

Great people and great vibes. If you're looking to get out and meet some people while having fun then Players Sports is for you. There are leagues and tournaments for a bunch of different sports. They run them for all skill levels and you get cool shirts if you win. Also a lot of free promos - they give out a lot of drinks and other stuff. Overall, very fun and very friendly environment.
For the last three years, I have been playing indoor and beach volleyball with Players Sport & Social. They are always exceptional and professional. My favorite part of the leagues is the cadence and the different formats that they offer; whether you want to play Rec vs Competitive or 2s vs 6s - they have it all! They also have referees for all of their indoor leagues, and they are prompt to email requests.
Love attending the Luau tournaments they host! Such a fun environment they set up!
Players Sports Volleyball tournaments are great! Always well-organized, and fun to meet and hang out with friends.
I've been competing in their leagues and tournaments for years. Always well run and a good time.
